👋 Good morning!
Just how Ben Johnson drew it up.
Saturday night was one of those nights we’ll be talking about for a long time.
And with a playoff spot clinched thanks to Aaron Rodgers, the path to the NFC North crown is clearer than ever. All it takes is one Bears win or a loss by the Packers.

Pinch Me.

How does one come down from the adrenaline rush induced by Saturday night’s win?
Let’s take a look at the good, better and best from an all-time Bears win.
Good: Jahdae Walker’s game-tying touchdown on fourth down with 17 seconds left.
There’s just something about 17 seconds in Chicago that always seems to work out for the best.
Walker’s story is incredible. Undrafted out of Texas A&M, he fought like hell throughout minicamp and the preseason to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, then found himself as a last resort in the offense, playing only eight offensive snaps before Saturday.
With Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden III (ankle) sidelined, Walker did what he did throughout the preseason that earned him his roster spot and came through when his team needed him most.
Caleb Williams on Walker: “Jahdae's my guy. When he first got here, I allowed him to stay at my house a little bit until he found a spot. We've gone in the indoor and worked out. Just being able to build that connection with him for moments like this. … He goes out there, makes the plays and he's in the right spot.”
Better: That throw. That catch. Williams to DJ Moore in overtime.
It doesn’t get much better than that. FOX analyst (and the greatest quarterback to ever play the game) Tom Brady called it “an absolutely 10-out-of-10, A-plus throw.”
Who am I to disagree with the GOAT?
Ben Johnson on the touchdown: “That was one that we put in and we ran in practice on Thursday, and it almost looked identical to that. I thought Caleb threw a dime in practice and DJ came down with it, and we were hopeful that it may or may not be there, but we timed that one up right. DJ ran a great route, and Caleb threw him a great ball. I think it's also a testament to our preparation over the course of the week.”
Caleb Williams: “I knew it was good. You got that belief, you got that confidence, you got that swagger as an offense, you practice well, you hit plays like that in practice. It was pretty identical to practice and when the play gets called and the moment comes up like that, it's time to go hit it.”
Best: That’s quite the locker room culture that Ben Johnson has built.
They’re fighting for each other and have a proper understanding of the stakes each week without getting too far ahead of themselves.
Cairo Santos said after the game: “It’s amazing to celebrate it now, but there’s bigger things that we’re playing for. We haven’t gotten to our goal yet. I can’t summarize it yet, good or bad. I just gotta keep playing one more game, and then we’ll have another chance in Week 18 to see where we’re at and see what we’re playing for.”
Williams on if the Bears are a “team of destiny”: “That's the cool part about destiny. You have to get to the end to know. We're going to keep working. We're going to keep striving for wins. We're going to keep striving for being the top team in this league and we're going to keep fighting until that clock says zero. From there, we'll look up and see who wins.”
Johnson on the 2025 Bears: “This is a special group. I felt that early in the season. You get some of those wins, the Raiders game and the Washington game and you start feeling it, the belief coming. And this group I'm talking about, coaches and players combined, it's rare. It really is. I can't say enough good things about the people in this building.”
Johnson was introduced as head coach exactly 11 months ago today. What a journey it’s been in less than a year.
And now they’ve officially clinched a spot in the postseason — or the tournament, as Johnson likes to call it.
Might as well win the whole darn thing while you’re there.

Bulls 152, Hawks 150: Was this the All-Star Game? Were there several overtime periods? Nope! Defense was optional on Sunday afternoon, but at full strength, the Bulls picked up their third consecutive win.
Matas Buzelis was simply on fire, hitting seven of eight from three-point range. He led the Bulls with 28 points in 29 minutes. Josh Giddey nearly picked up his seventh triple-double of the year, adding 19 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.
It’s worth noting that 2020 first-round pick Patrick Williams’ role remained relatively diminished. After a season-low five minutes on Friday night in Cleveland, Williams played only nine minutes in Atlanta.

Are You Kidding Me? The hits just keep on coming for the Blackhawks. Already 0-4-0 without Connor Bedard, they’ll be without top-line center Frank Nazar for an extended period of time after he took a shot to his face in Saturday’s 6-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators. Coach Jeff Blashill said Nazar is expected to miss approximately four weeks.

Splash! The White Sox made a surprise splash on Sunday, signing lefty Japanese slugger Munetaka Murakami to a two-year contract worth $34 million.
Murakami, 25, has quite the power stroke, clubbing 246 home runs in eight seasons with the Yakult Swallows of the Nippon Professional Baseball league. In that time, he also slashed .270/.394/.557.
The White Sox will introduce Murakami today.
